Unfortunately The US Postal Service has increased its rates for domestic and international shipping by a large amount. We will no longer be able to offer our flat rate shipping. Shipping will be charged to the customer for whatever postage is required. However, we still do not charge a handling fee for any of our items. For International customers, previously I could send smaller packages using first class "letter" mail. However, the size of the box that they allow for that class of shipping has been reduced, so future orders will have to be shipped using "International Priority Mail". I am sorry for this devlopment as the postage costs will increase quite a bit.

The final auction has begun, and Robert Yarger has completed his second and likely final run of Chopstick Boxes.

3.20.2007
Auction #2 now closed; next and final personal auction will go sometime in May.
New items:
-Wausau '81 and '84 designed by Bill Cutler and made by Eric Fuller
-Scorpius puzzle designed by Stewart Coffin and made by Eric Fuller
-Prismastar puzzle designed by Vaclav Obsivec and made by John Devost
-Vega puzzle designed by Stewart Coffin and made by John Devost
I have been working on the Pieces of Eight puzzle by Stewart Coffin and it was a lot toughert hen I expected. I'll be working on completely redesigning and rethinking how I make my jigs and do my work in general in the future. It's difficult to appreciate the level of precision required to make these polyhedral puzzles until you try it yourself!

Happy New Year everyone! A few new items to report. Robert Yarger has re-released a small number of Lock Boxes. After this they're all gone, no more to be found. Also, his new Chopstick Box is very interesting and beautifully crafted. I have finishd a new puzzle box, which is the "Triple Locked Box. Finally, John Devost has completed a very few copies of Stewart Coffin's Twelve Piece Burr. The technique used was very labor intensive, each block being composed of 4 different types of wood. The effect is like a Kaleidoscope...VERY interesting. The second part of my Puzzle auction is now online. Coming soon: Bill Cutler's Wassau '81 and '84 designs, and perhaps a Coffin piece no one has done for quite some time.
