I am anticipating the next phase will be ready in January. Several collectors have contacted me requesting that I add some items on their behalf, so the next one may be even more exciting.
Finally, it seems to me that the demand for out of production puzzles is quite large and without an effective marketplace. I am considering creating a scheduled auction event that would serve as a forum for buyers and sellers to come together once a year. It seems to me that this would benefit both the longtime collectors who would like to pare down as well as the newer collectors by giving them the opportunity to aquire classics that would otherwise be impossible to find. If you have any thoughts, opinions or feedback about this idea, please write to me and let me know.

Update: Well, I have been using Hotmail for several years as the email for cubicdissection.com. I pay for the service; I am not using the free account. Apparently they have decided to set a very low cap on the number of email messages I am allowed to send in a given 24 hour period. They also did not bother to notify me, which made for a nice suprise when I went to notify the list! I have sent an email to Hotmail to see if this can be changed but I don't expect anything more then an automatic reply. Stay tuned for a new email address in the near future!

Welcome Back! It's been a long time since we had an update. There are a few new puzzles available today, including Stickman's "Fulcrum" Puzzle Box, another Einfeld design named "Integrity" and some more of Stewart Coffin's "Lock Nut" puzzle, precision crafted by Mark McCallum.
After a long break between updates, we reward your patience with many new puzzles! From John Devost we have several new packing puzzles, including "Anti-Slide" and "Just Fit" by William Strijbos, as well as Dean Hoffman's excellent "Hoffman Packing Puzzle". Eric has finished several interlocking puzzles as well, including two new puzzles by Tom Jolly (Double Bar Cube and H Cube), Oskar Van Deventer (Two in One), Sheffield Steel 6BB by Ronald Kint-Bruynseels. Also, Eric is pleased to annouce an excellent puzzle (Gymnasium) by a heretofore unknown designer, Duane Enfield. Additionally, there are very limited re-editions of the excellent "Two Piece Oddity" as well as "Oskar's Matchbox Puzzle".
Well, a few new puzzles in the "Puzzles for Sale" section, including the Stickman #10 Box and my first metal box, the Small Push Box. John Devost has made a VERY limited amount of a great new design by Mr. Primitivo Familiar Ramos of Spain; that design is called "Pack the Podium". Finally, Mark has released his second and final edition of Stewart Coffins "Meteor" puzzle...the quality of that work is, as always, absolutely outstanding.
I have done a bit more work on the new E-Commerce section of the site. As requested, the new items will pop up a higher resolution picture of the item if you click on it. Unfortunately the Shipping Insurance module had some glitches and is removed for now, but I'm hopefull it will make a return down the road.
Finally, I have also updated the "Discontinued Puzzles" section. That area is getting quite large. Hmm, may have to think about actually organizing it soon...
Happy Puzzling!
Happy New Year! There are unfortunately no new puzzles for this update. However, I have been working for the last several days on a MAJOR upgrade to the purchasing section. This upgrade should address all the major issues our international customer face, and also features real-time inventory tracking. Thankfully, purchasing an item only to find it was sold out minutes before should be a thing of the past. International customers are now able to check out directly online and not have to wait for a shipping quote. Domestic insurance is available. So much more...I can't even to begin to describe it. Think I'll take a nap instead; figuring out PHP programming is HARD. Thankfully I do much better in the woodshop then behind the keyboard.
I should have my first metal puzzle box coming out before the end of the month, so keep your eyes open. Finally, I took a trip down to my favorite wood store and bought back a trunkfull of some interesting stuff, so more interlocking puzzles should be on the way soon!
