WHAT'S NEW?

12.18.2005
Well, this is probably the last post of the year, so I'll take this opportunity to say to everyone that I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
This last year saw a lot of changes at cubicdissection.com, so it's only fitting to end the year with one more change, the introduction of yet another talented craftsman to the site. John Devost has actually been a customer of ours for some time, so you can imagine my surprise when he sent me several "samples" of his work as a gift. It was truly outstanding, and after little bit of pushing on my part he agreed to share his talent with the rest of the puzzle community! So it is with great pleasure that I introduce his first work, a beautiful reproduction of David Singmaster's excellent 25 Piece Packing Puzzle.
Eric has been very busy the past 45 days, and has completed several new puzzles, including Oskar's Matchboxes, Oskar's Paperclips, Dutch Rings, more copies of the sold out Shaekel Knot, Ronald Kint-Bruynseels excellent Squarrel puzzle, and finally Mr. Tamura's Divide Cube .
Robert has released his latest puzzle box, the very interesting, highly affordable and generally fantastic Stickman #9 Puzzle Box. Grab one quick because I'm sure they will sell out in no time flat!
Finally, a spot of bad news. The post office is raising their rates yet again, and this time we are unable to absorb the increase. So, after January 1 we will unfortunately not be able to offer free shipping any longer. All domestic orders will be shipped at the flat rate of $5.75 regardless of quantity. International orders will be processed the same as they are now.

Lots of new exciting puzzle this time folks! First off is exciting news; Tom Lensch has joined us here at cubicdissection.com! Tom has been making puzzles for more then 10 years and is considered one of the best. He will be selling selected works on the site. You can read more about him on his profile. Much of Tom's work will still be sold directly by email, so make sure to contact him and see what other works he has available. Tom's first works listed here are the Shaekel Knot, the Schneider 21 Pc. Packing Puzzle, the Domino Kubus and the Punch Cards Puzzle.
Next, Mark McCallum has been working on some copies of Stewart Coffin's elusive Meteor puzzle. Mark has really outdone himself; the work is absolutely beautiful, and Mark told me he spent in excess of 6 hours on each puzzle!
Eric has a couple works for this month; first the famous Hazelgrove Box, followed by the brand new and very interesting Meijer's Box.
Finally, Robert has released the second edition of the Stickman #8 Puzzle Box.
The guestbook turned out to be a front for spammers. Since they would not let me remove the offensive messages, I have pulled it until I can find another site.

10.11.2005
A couple changes have been made to the site...I'm slowly cleaning up links and such here and there as I find time. I've also added a guestbook; if you collect our puzzles, please drop my and let our future customers know what you think!
