Cubes are a favorite of mine. I like the inherent simplicity and symmetry of a cube made up of smaller cubes.

Some of these cubes are interlocking and some are not. The simplest ones are just pentominos which can be stacked into a cube shape. The more complicated ones are interlocking, and require several steps to be assembled and disassembled. Still other cubes are "sequentially interlocking", meaning that not only do they only go together one way, but that the pieces have to be put together in a particular order!
