Eric Fuller got hooked on puzzles during the winter of 2002. It all started with a 27 move puzzle box purchased on Ebay. As his collection grew, he started seeing pictures for puzzles which were no longer available, having been limited editions made by craftsmen. By Christmas 2002, he was spending his free time at the kitchen table, cutting not so square stock purchased from Home Depot into crude 6 piece burr puzzles.
By the the next spring, he moved to a place with a garage and began setting up a woodshop, despite having no formal training in woodworking. He started the Cubicdissection.com website to display his puzzle collection online in the summer of 2003. Within months he was selling puzzles online, and was invited to be a member of the International Puzzle Party (IPP).
Eric now works full time creating puzzles and puzzle boxes. He hopes to move into puzzling sculpture down the road. Eric's biggest thrill is seeing his work in the hands of collectors who appreciate it and enjoy it. As his skills increase, he looks forward to being able to provide progressively finer work to puzzle enthusiasts worldwide.
