It would be nice if we could add pictures to our text. A picture of a technique saves 5 paragraphs of explaining sometimes.

Good point, Robert. For example look at Lee's Puzzle Primer Instructable, greatly enhanced not only by his use of pictures but also by the fact that he was able to highlight areas of the pictures with captions.

Eric,
It would be very useful if we had a place to park large files. I'm thinking of some sort of ftp site with restrictive access. It would be nice to have a place to put items like scanned puzzle articles, electronic books, puzzle designs, or other information, in one place where we could easily share it between us. An electronic library of puzzle information.

Maybe a FAQ section could be helpful:
How do I put up a photo for my profile?
How to I insert a photo into a topic/reply?
What size files are recommended for photos?
I'd be happy to gather/type some of these with you if you would like (not than I'm an expert, but willing to share the work).

Eric - I'll be happy to! Can you pass along some of the limits? Photo size seems to be 128 KB for attaching a photo - 4 photos per post, but I never did figure out the allowable size of the avatar. If you have some sort of settings list available, I can go through it and cut and past to make a FAQ - otherwise I will do some trial and error.
I took a look through all the options inside the Profile tab too - which was good to do. Maybe I'm slow on that one, but was going to suggest having a look at that to everyone else in case you haven't yet...
