Eric, I got the most recent "Bits and Pieces" catalog yesterday and I noticed they have one of your designs!  Is the "Shut Case Box" the mass-market version of the "Cam Box"?  What was it like working with them?

Thanks for the heads up on this item Jeff.
I like Bits and Pieces and had planned to purchase some of their reproductions earlier, just to find out that they don't ship outside the US  Cry
So if anyone knows a way of getting the Shut Case Box please let me know.  Smiley

Hi Guys,

The Shut Case is indeed the Cam Box.  I haven't had my hands on the final production version yet so I can't comment on quality, but the prototype I gave feedback on was quite decent for the price.  Working with them is somewhat slow but so far hassle free Smiley

Jonas, I'll see if I can find a way to make the box available internationally.  Perhaps I can buy some and resell them on Cubicdissection.  Would a premium of say $5 make it not worth it to you?  I would need to add *something* to justify spending the time on it...

I'm also interested in one for the premium and obviously the shipping.

Eric, how were you able to get in touch with Bits and Pieces to do your box?  I saw last year on the forum you posted that you were interested in the idea but had no idea how to do it.

Also, how come the box is rectangular shaped instead of your original cube?  It's not apparent that it's any easier to build larger.
