Hi,

I'm new to this forum and you can read more about me in the "New Member" thread.

I'm trying to get in contact with the inventor of this puzzle, in an attempt to buy the lock in Europe (or from himself) because I live in Sweden and the customs tend to grab a lot of parcels from the US. So an already expensive lock from Grand Illusions would be marked up by aprox. 25% from the custom.

I believe this is the inventors website: http://www.popplock.com/ but I get no reply on the e-mail that's located on that website. So if anyone here knows a place to buy this lock in Europe, or how to get in contact with the inventor please let me know.

/Best Regards

Hi Jonas

Welcome!

Thanks for your post and your email.
The designer's name is Rainer Popp.
I contacted him a few times via the email on his website, and got a reply within a couple of days after each communication.
Maybe he is away for Easter holidays?
I don't have any other information for him, aside from what you see on the website.
I don't know whether he retails the lock on any other site apart from Grand Illusions.

Good luck and keep trying!

Cheers

Actually Jonas, now I think about it, Grand Illusions is actually based in England.

Will this make life any easier for you?

Embarrassed This is embarrassing, I was so certain that Grand Illusions was based in the US, so I never even bothered to check the "Contact us" details on their website  Embarrassed

Thank you for that eye-opener, and yes it will make things a lot easier(cheaper) Grin

I managed to get in contact with Rainer Popp, and yes the e-mail communication was a bit slow aprox. 1 mail per day, but he might be a very busy man and/or limited internet access.
