Here are some very nicely made jigsaw puzzles with a twist http://www.decorativepuzzles.com/html/cafequirky_puzzles.html  Some look good enough to eat  Smiley

Thanks for the site Peter,

I finally found my Hero, this Mike pommy bloke is 1 very clever dud.
He doesn't skimp on exotic woods, brilliant ideas of thingos in 3D, incorporating intarcia and jigsaws, and he WOODTURNS!! Damn good at it too

Whatever happens , don't tell him about IPP competitions or making mechanical puzzles,or about us at the Forum. Hes an English Akio Kamei in the making, and he'll whip our pants easily. Yeap, hes got heaps talent, thats for sure.

I particularly like the pics of Africa, Australia and India incorporated in hs designs, very immaginative
Where do you manage to find these smart cookies??

I look at his works, I look at mine, ,,,I'm ashame,,,,I'll stick to fixing teeth from now on,,,,Woo Tuck Fook!, I'll ask permission to copy his work and be his disciple,,,  Grin Grin Grin

I have one of his puzzles, and they are as good as they look!

Like Frank I can confirm that the puzzles are as good as they look - I have 9 or 10 now and they are all cleverly designed and superbly made.  My children also have half a dozen of his simpler animal shaped jigsaws, again all made of exotic woods.

I've picked most of them up over a number of years at various craft shows - Mike is a nice guy to deal with. If you are in the UK and close to one of the shows Mike exhibits at it is definitely worth a visit!
