Here is a consensus of 2008 for us puzzlers.

John Devost made some pens, fed some small horses, got a new lathe, and dominated us all in facebook towers.

John's wife "Barb" has reminded us all that she is not a red-headed bear to be poked.  She has also showed her merciful side, as she was content to be second place in facebook towers when I know she could have taken John easily.

Eric got lots of new shiney equipment, some of which he can use to battle the forces of evil with.  He redid his kitchen.  Oh, and he actually won IPP with his wonderful box.

Johan wooed us all with his ketchy words of wisdom, and by contrast also showed us what 2 water buffalo look like when they are getting down and dirty in the road.

Scott has moved into a new home, and is continuing to add to his collection of many children.

Matt has finished all of his undergraduate work and is on to the next step in his life.

Stephen pulled a few teeth, made a few puzzles and his wonderful woo was robbed from its destiny at IPP.

Strayer went to Maine for vacation, but did not send me any lobster yet.

Kerry successfully worked his way into the puzzle business, but not so succesfully attempted to refurbish some old rusty equipment (or did you ever get that thing working).

Ron completed his Ark puzzlebox but has yet to finalize the lease arrangements with God.

Robert managed to make his first sphere puzzle and snubbed his nose at the latheies who though it could be done no other way.

Andreas made burr tools available to all.

Frank made an exceptional puzzle design, I assume with burr tools

Bernhard went on vacation and rode horses, but nobody really knows what he looks like because he face is always hidden behind a camera.

There are over 100 people on this forum, so who am I forgetting.  There must be someone.

Happy Holidays to all.

Happy Christmas to one and all.

Hope 2009 brings more puzzles, more ideas, more silly games, more cowboy pictures, more turned puzzles, more friends, more silly posts, more beer, and more entries into puzzle competitions.
