Finally finidhed it today!  WOOHOO!  Been working on this sucker since June.  Sorry no pics...just imagine the coolest puzzle box in the universe, then have three beers and a shot and you may be getting pretty close to this one.

Should be able to post some snaps tomorrow or over the weekend.  It's called the 51 Pound box.  One pound is included - the other 50 you must provide yourself.

Are all of the puzzleboxes done, or just the first working model?

I frequently get things backwards.  I have three beers and a shot, and then picture the coolest puzzlebox in the world.  Perhaps they is why my boxes turn out the way they do.  I get hammered prior to the desin phase and have to sober up a bit to make them work proper.  Grin

That sure sounds like a 'Clue' to opening the box or maybe just a hint at the price ShockedLips sealed Wink
Hey glad to hear you finally got to finising those boxes, it looks like your laser had you distracted for a while there, thankfully I don't have any distractions like that Tongue

That's really strange because I have to 'get hammered , and have to sober up a bit to solve' your puzzleboxes! Grin

OK, pics as promised.  Crappy pics, but pics nonetheless.

EDIT: Before too many people see it, I'm pulling the pics of the open box.  Gives too much away Wink

Heh...maybe I should call it the drawbrige box instead!  51 Pound Box is not very inspired.

You should call it the MRI machine.  Will metalic items placed inside interfere with the mechanism?

Highly radioactive or extremely highly magnetic might.. other than that, doubtful.

Pics don't do it justice. Very pretty. Post a purple one too Eric.

I totally missed that until you mentioned it...outstanding craftmanship!!!  I've thought of using that joint before, but they're a real pain to set-up!DAMHIKT Roll Eyes  YOU DA MAN Grin

The joints and inlay are exceptional.  More than exceptional.  Great job.
