Well, I thought a work shed built of bloodwood would look nice, but it turns gray too quick. I'll stick to pressure-treated for my gray lumber. Maybe purpleheart is the way to go. Smiley

It would be neat to try the stencil trick, but bloodwood's final color looks ugly to be frank.

Purpleheart will eventually turn brown if left long enough in the elements.  A person who has funds to cover the entire exterior of their woodshop in exotic woods needs to make a donation to my "save the dodo bird" foundation.
