OK, I was embarrased so I did not post any pictures of my shop, but some of you guys really have a pathetic work space.  I will post my picks later today, just for shits and giggles.  I was intimidated by some of your workshop pics, but these last few remind be of Sandford & Son.

You have a fair amount of space, a lot more than I do.   Wink

I'm just happy that the wife let me have one room in the house.

I like Robert's shop.  Just as dusty and "deurmekaar" like mine.  Grin Grin  The end product is the reason for the shops existence, not the other way around.  Wink Grin   Sometimes i wish I had the discipline to keep it more tidy.  I'll put it on my wishlist if I remember for the new year.

By the way, 1 September is official Spring day in South Africa.  Now it will get warmer and I can start to dehibernate for a change!!!! Grin

Scott, you're not using the right term, they're definitely not 'widowmakers' they only remove fingers and appendages, which is easily fixed with a little 'vodka and duct tape' ...far from the heart Grin

I'm jealous of you guys.  The neighbors can always tell when I'm working on a project: one of the cars is parked in the driveway!

Why move the car?  You could easily put a jointer in the back of the minivan...

Hello all,
Well I'm new to this forum. Can't help but make this my first post since I just built a new shop. I finally have room to work in. Before I had everything all in the old shop which is less than half the size of the new shop. Now I'm using the old shop for wood storage and processing. So thats where I've got the big bandsaw and board planers. Just about everything else moved over the new shop. I even set up a positive pressure finish room which works well. I know it all looks clean and spiffy right now. It's new and I haven't got everything setup in there yet.  Give me time, I'll break it in real good.
Here's some pics...

Awesome shop.  Looks like more room than you will ever need.  You could make a boat in there.  I am also curious about the project you are working on.  Looks similar to an "inside out" puzzlebox I started on in the past, but never got working correctly.
