I forgot to say I have been making puzzles part time for Bill Cutler for over 20 years and thanks to Bill was able to accumulate a lot of equipment.

Jerry, all I can say is that I am really jealous.

VERY VERY NICE.

I see you also have a really "BIG" lathe there.

The jig in pic #2 is for cutting crown molding for the kitchen cabinets!  I really should move my photo setup out of the shop it does get pretty dusty there.

Thanks for clearing that up Jerry!  I thought maybe it was for another one of Bill's long since discontinued burr puzzle designs Grin

Thanks for posting pics Jerry!

I was lucky enough to visit his shop along with a few other guys back in 2003 during the Chicago IPP.  I had only been woodworking for maybe 9 months and it really boggled my mind then.  Still does come to think of it!  I think that visit is why Lee has been obsessed with CNC stuff for the last few years.

Yeah, I gotta' say Jerry really kicked our butts in this thread, you know what they say 'whoever finishes with the most tools wins' Grin

Damn.  I thought my laser trumped all, but Jerry's gonna beat me out with that Tormach mill!

I was talking to Trevor Wood at IPP, trying to figure out how you could just quit making stuff like he did.  Just up and quit one day.  I told him they'd be digging my grave with a backhoe 'cause I'm bringing my tools with me!

Spoke to Trevor Wood through emails a few years back, did he mention why he stopped making puzzles?  He mentions in the 'Directory of...' that he lost his workshop Sad

Hi Eric, I echo John's question. Undecided

Or was it a deep philosophical discussion that cannot be repeated?

 Wink
hi interested booys on Trevor Wood

there were some more reasons for his stopping to make puzzles ( personal ,  health reasons and loosing his workshop;
I can only agree from my deepest heart: he is real a fantastic nice guy
