Hi John, Nice pen for the not so faint hearted.  Is it artificial or real?  I thought rattlers get a bit bigger than that.

Is it correct that, if you press the top of the pen the poisonous teeth will come out on the other end of the pen??

Johan, that is in fact the 'real deal', that particular blank is special because they have to be made specifically for a particular 'kit', and I've never seen any other in that type of pencil, I got it from a guy of the penboards.  It's made by gluing a 'shed' snake skin blank to a painted brass tube, then the entire tube is encapsulated in clear resin, it's an expensive process and not many people make them for that reason Wink
Hey I like the idea of the 'fangs' coming out once you press the top Shocked  Maybe Robert will incorporate that idea into a puzzlebox someday Tongue

I like the idea.  Solve the puzzle to get the anti-venom before the posion kills you.  A nice twist to a puzzlebox design.
