The box is in transit to Peter via USPS to the Great White North.  Beware of the 3rd to last move. I could see what needed to be done, but whether it was the humidity or the build tolerances, it just didn't seem to move. At times I was really worried about pushing my thumb through the side. But once opened I couldn't really see or understand how it was so springy. Actually, once it moved and I opened the thing, I could see how thinly cut some of the panel groves were...which then got me worrying that I might damage it by putting it back together or just looking at it wrong. Well, fortunately not.
Enjoy.

Thanks for the review on the puzzle Andrew!  The grooves should be pretty robust...I wouldn't worry about breaking it.  The springiness is intentional - I wanted there to be some resistance to locking the cams.  I used a very high tech method too...weatherstripping! Cheesy

Peter, you will love the box.  Eric really made a fine puzzle and it surpasses many (if not all) of my own designs.  Enjoy!

Fantastic Puzzle box!, the build quality and solution are top notch.  Thanks Robert for lending it to the library.  I don't want to give away too much here, and I will email Eric to tell him my thoughts separately. The box is available as of August 16, 2008, for whoever would like to give it a try, just post here.
