I must add that the "spline" and "cam" puzzleboxes that Eric made are (in my opinion)one of the best designed puzzleboxes that I have ever seen. As such, they deserve a noble nick-name, perhaps something like the dynamic duo (but I suppose that is already taken - curse you batman).
Also, I think the small push box was also called "the bean box" because it was so small that it could only hold a bean. Eric took puzzleboxes to a new level when he made that one. I think that each move was 1/64". Talk about touchy tolerances, but somehow he pulled it off.

Robert, The Small Push box was the one made out of metal, and the 30 Move Mame is the little box.

You are correct. Still, I think that "bean box" has a nice ring to it.

Hey Matt, thanks for posting this! Funny, for some reason I never went into my own dang forum because it was never highlighted as having new posts. I'll pay better attention in the future

No problem, Eric. Which of your ten boxes was the most difficult to make?

In terms of design, the Irmo box was the most difficult to complete. As far as tediousness in construction, has to be the small push box. When working with metal, everything takes 5x as long.

Don't know how you find time to make stuff with all the forum updates and shipping that you do now. Maybe you should hire someone to help in shipping, posting and updates so that you can spend more time in the shop. Hey, with a new member "Kerry" and potentially more artists in the future, you are going to find yourself with no shop time at all.

Nah.. I can't pester him via IM or email while he's in the shop, and he can't hear his phone in there either. We'll be working to make the updates a little less time consuming too via page scripts, etc. Web code is one puzzle I'm good at solving.
