When browsing the Directory of Puzzle Collectors & Puzzle Sellers I suddenly realised that there are hardly any woman in there.

There may also be a handful of female puzzle designers... I won't name any, because one of them could scratch my eyes out of their sockets if I forget to mention her.

I know the poor creatures can't tell left from right, but that shouldn't keep the girlies from playing with the trangram (after bringing us the beer, let there be no misunderstanding about that).

But still, it keeps me wondering why puzzling is such a predominantly male activity.

I hope my wife doesn't see this post Lips sealed otherwise it's the 'doghouse' for me Grin
For what it's worth both of my nieces are very good puzzlers but one has a knack for box packing puzzles and the other is good at polyhedral(Coffin)type puzzles and my wife tends to get very frustrated watching me with puzzles Wink

I haven't met many men who play with dolls either.  Strangely, the few who do keep asking me for my phone number.
