I just thought of this.  I know of several collectors who put coins inside their puzzleboxes so that you can hear something rattling around.  Retreiving the coin is a way to ensure that you have have reached the last secret chamber.

To increase the value of your puzzlebox collection use a piece of hard peppermint candy instead of a coin.  Then you can tell everyone that your collectable is "mint in box".  What a "sweet" idea.

Very clever Robert...I like it  Grin

I put a coffee bean inside my Mame boxes for the obvious reason.  Coins are a great idea too - the Japanese use them to make sure you find the concealed chamber in the lid of the higher move boxes.

Eric,

You let me off the hook far too easy.  That was a really, really bad pun.  I feel disappointed that you did not give me more greif.

Now I'm going to steal your idea and make a very small puzzlebox containing a mint  Shocked

Very Punny Frank.  You are "red hot" and I now feel like a "sucker".
